Recreation
Celebration of almost all the major festivals, Hostel nights and exclusive outdoor and indoor sports facilities have made Gyan Ganga a Home away from home.The students unwind with movie shows in a large auditorium during weekends that are carefully selected by the film committee.

Inter-House Competitions
Essay writing, debates, extempores, speech , singing , dance , mono acting are some of the events conducted during competitions and are a regular feature in the school. These events not only provide a break from the classroom learning but also stimulate the child's creative talents.

A Word a Day
This programme has made the assembly interesting while at the same timehelped students in their vocabulary development. A word is put on the information board and students are asked to explain its meaning the following morning besides using the word to construct sentences. This has made them refer to dictionaries to pick new words, learn its usage besides developing self-confidence to take to the platform to address their peers.

Hostel Nights and Talent Hunt
Dorm Nites are celebrated in the Auditorium. Students exhibit their talent in mono-acting, singing, dancing, acting etc. The Hostel Nights are organized by the students themselves under the guidance of house wardens. Thus they learn to take up responsibility of organizing events in a disciplined and orderly manner.

Excursions / Educational trips
Students visit places of educational interest decided by the subject teachers every month. A domestic educational trip is also organized for 8 to-10 days every year.

Events & Celebrations
GGIA celebrates various festivals of our culture . Every care is taken to provide joyous and festive moods to various celebrations like Raksha Bandhan, Independence Day, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dashehra ,Deepawali , Onam, Krishna Janmashtami, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day, Christmas, New Year ,Holi , Ram Navmi , Mahashivratri & Pongal.
